IO error while decrypting keyslot

I finally experience a LUKS disk that I could not open. It was not a good experience, but it was a good opportunity to use LUKS header. For this to work, you will need the LUKS header for that specific disk.

root@darktower:~# cryptsetup luksHeaderRestore /dev/sdn1 --header-backup-file disk13_B1E4.bin

After the above command, open the encrypted disk like you normally do.

cryptsetup open /dev/sdn1 luks_disk13

I hope you’ll find this useful.

Cheers!
